Our Story

Since its founding in 1996, LAFST (Lebanese Association of Food Scientists and Technologists) has been supporting Lebanon’s food sector through science, innovation, and collaboration. What started as a small group of academics has become a vibrant network of over 800 members spanning researchers, students, industry professionals, and public sector actors.
